At the Contractor Council of India (CCI), we are deeply committed to ensuring that every worker is treated with dignity, paid fairly, and works in a safe environment. Our mission is to uphold and protect their fundamental rights at every stage.
Fair Wages (उचित वेतन): We advocate for the strict implementation of minimum wage laws and ensure that workers receive their payments on time and in full. We work with contractors to establish transparent payment systems that eliminate exploitation and guarantee fair compensation for their hard work.
Workplace Safety (कार्यस्थल पर सुरक्षा): A safe worker is a productive worker. We actively promote and help implement stringent safety standards on construction sites. This includes providing access to essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), conducting safety drills, and creating a culture where safety is everyone’s top priority to prevent accidents and injuries.
Dignity of Work (काम की गरिमा): Every individual deserves to be treated with respect. We work to ensure humane working conditions, including reasonable work hours, access to clean drinking water, proper sanitation facilities, and adequate shelter. We stand firmly against any form of forced labour, harassment, or discrimination at the workplace.
Grievance Redressal (शिकायत निवारण): We provide a trusted platform for workers to voice their concerns and file complaints without fear of reprisal. Our team works to mediate disputes between workers and contractors to find fair and timely solutions.
